Our volunteers started handing food out of the office window in 1995. We evolved into a shopping pantry in 2016 and became our own 501c3 nonprofit in 2021. In 2024, we served 24,370 adults and children, 9,349 households, which equates to a 52% increase over 2023.
Our mission is to help people out of poverty by alleviating hunger and food insecurity for those persons in Jefferson County and the surrounding area who are at risk..
Our volunteers are passionate about carrying out our mission and focus on ensuring all our clients are treated with dignity and respect.

We offer high protein, nutrient-dense free food choices through a shopping-style food pantry in Madras, Oregon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, of each week 10:00 am-1:00 pm. A Free Food Market on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Sign in at 4 pm and the door opens at 4:30 pm- until all the food is gone. We also have four in-school pantry programs for students who need food on the weekends.
