Our volunteers started handing food out of the office window in 1995. We evolved into a shopping pantry in 2016 and became our own 501c3 nonprofit in 2021. In 2023, we served 11,646 clients, and 5,048 households and sent 317,428 pounds of food out the Pantry door.
Our mission is to alleviate hunger and food insecurity for all those persons living in Jefferson County and the surrounding areas who are at risk.
Our volunteers are passionate about carrying out our mission and focus on ensuring all our clients are treated with dignity and respect.

We offer high protein, nutrient-dense free food choices through a shopping-style food pantry in Madras, Oregon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, of each week 10:00 am-1:00 pm. A Free Food Market on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Sign in at 4 pm and the door opens at 4:30 pm- until all the food is gone. We also have three elementary in-school pantry programs for students who need food on the weekends.
