Festival of Trees

Join us on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds for our annual Christmas Tree Decorated and Auction. This event provides an opportunity for the community to come together and support a great cause by auctioning off beautifully decorated Christmas trees, with all proceeds going to the Madras Community Food Pantry. Decoration of trees will be donated by local businesses, service groups, and individuals. A prime rib dinner, done by Joe Davis of the Black Bear, will be served. Our event promises to be a fun-filled evening for the whole family, with activities and refreshments provided. We encourage everyone to come and join us in supporting our community. Also, we are looking for items to be donated for a silent auction. Contact us for more information at 541-325-1747. We offer sponsorship packages for businesses interested in engaging with their local community.

Our MISSION

“To alleviate hunger and food insecurity for all those persons living  in Jefferson County and the surrounding areas who are at risk.” Our volunteers are passionate about carrying out our mission and focus on ensuring all our clients are treated with dignity and respect. “Hunger is a story we can end.”

Our Services

We offer high protein, nutrient-dense free food choices to any resident of Jefferson County or Warm Springs who is in need of food. No one is excluded, if they come to shop.

How it all began

Our volunteers started handing food out of the office window in 1995. We evolved into a shopping pantry in 2016 and became our own 501c3 nonprofit in 2021.
